On 10/1/17 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (ST KILDA ROAD, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in St Kilda Rd for its entire length. The Order is operative for 6 weeks from 16/1/17 for works for carriageway and footway works and speed hump replacement, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Access for frontagers will be maintained where possible. The closure will be removed at weekends when works are suspended. Alternative route: Dalmahoy Dr, Birkdale Pl and Macalpine Rd.
