Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close Loreburn Cycle Bridge from 09:00 hours Monday 4th July 2016 to 17:00 hours Friday 23rd September 2016.
The closure is necessary to facilitate bridge maintenance works.
Alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists is via Park Lane, Buccleuch Street Bridge (northern footway), College Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will not be maintained.
