Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 21 October, 2017, until 06:00 on 23 October, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the C19C Shielhill Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with the U19C Leuchlands Road and the access to Shielhill Concrete Plant. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during cable installation works being carried out by SSE. An alternative route is available via the B999 Tarves Road, the A90 Ellon Road, the A90 Parkway, and the B997 Scotstown Road.
