Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 30 October, 2017, until 18:00 on 3 November, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on Don Street, Old Aberdeen, Aberdeen, between two points 5 metres either side of Clarks Lane. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during gas connection works being carried out by SGN.
