Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on the U52C Stoneywood Road, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with the A947 New Stoneywood Road and Bankhead Road, from 05:30 on 17 November, 2017, until 22:00 on 5 December, 2017. The permitted direction of travel will be eastbound only. Scheduled bus services will be exempt. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the U52C Stoneywood Road, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with A947 New Stoneywood Road and Bankhead Road, from 08:00 on 17 November, 2017, until 22:00 on 5 December, 2017.The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works being carried out by Scottish and Southern Energy. An alternative route for westbound vehicles is available via the A947 New Stoneywood Road, the A96 Inverurie Road, Bankhead Avenue and Bankhead Road.
