Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order which will operate from 08:00 on 31 August, 2017, to 30 August, 2018, will be to impose certain lengths of prohibition of waiting at any time on the un-named access road serving Rose House and Davidson House, Aberdeen, as defined in the schedule below. Exemptions will apply as usual to the picking up or setting down of passengers, loading or unloading and vehicles parked with the consent of the Council in direct association with authorised roadworks or building works. These measures are necessary to prevent obstructive parking and thereby ensure emergency vehicle access. - Schedule Un-named access road serving Rose House and Davidson House On the access road on the west side of Rose House, from a point 5 metres east of its junction with Hazlehead Road, northwards for a distance of 22 metres, then eastwards for a distance of 5 metres, then southwards for a distance of 21 metres. On the access road on the east side of Rose House, from as point 39 metres east of its junction with Hazlehead Road, northwards for a distance of 30 metres, then eastwards for a distance of 5 metres, then southwards for a distance of 30 metres. On the access road on the north and east sides of Davidson House, from a point 44 metres east, then 10 metres south of its junction with Hazlehead Road, eastwards for a distance of 23 metres, then southwards for a distance 38 metres, then westwards for a distance of 4 metres, then northwards for a distance of 33 metres, then westwards for a distance of 18 metres. On the access road on the west side of Davidson House, from a point 10 metres south of the northern face of Davidson House, southwards for a distance of 13 metres, then westwards for a distance of 6 metres, then northwards for a distance of 13 metres.
