Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 20:00 on 18 August, 2017, until 06:00 on 19 August, 2017, and from 20:00 on 19 August, 2017, until 06:00 on 20 August, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of right turn manoeuvres from Anderson Drive, Aberdeen, on to Great Western Road, and also a prohibition of left turn manoeuvres from Great Western Road, Aberdeen, on to Anderson Drive. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during ironwork repairs being carried out by Scottish Water. An alternative route for both restrictions is available via South Anderson Drive (southbound), Broomhill Roundabout, and South Anderson Drive (northbound).
