Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers Under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 20:00 on 18 August, 2017, until 06:00 on 21 August, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the A93 North Deeside Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with the B979 Milltimber Brae and the access road to Culter Lodge. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. Scheduled bus services will be exempt. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route works. An alternative route is available via the B979 Malcolm Road, B979 Peterculter-Kirkton of Skene, B9119 Tarland Road, A944 Skene Road, B9119 Queens Road, A90 Anderson Drive, the A93 Great Western Road, the A93 St Johns Terrace, and the A93 North Deeside Road.
