Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 19:00 on 2 June, 2017, until 18:00 on 3 June, 2017, is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Fairview Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with Gordon Brae and its eastern junction with Fairview Crescent. The permitted direction of travel will be westbound only. Temporary traffic signals will be in use during the works and until 1800 on 4th July, 2017. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during ironwork repairs. An alternative route is available via Fairview Brae and Laurel Drive.
