Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 until 22:00 on 4 July, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Camperdown Road, Aberdeen, between the southern gable end of No 1 and the boundary between No 7 and 9 Camperdown Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on Camperdown Road, Aberdeen, between the southern gable end of No 1 and the boundary between No 7 and 9 Camperdown Road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during Scottish Water works. An alternative route is available via Raeden Park Road, Westburn Road, Bonnymuir Place, Mid Stocket Road and Harcourt Road.
