Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Inchgarth Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Westerton Road and Deeview Road South, and on Deeview Road South, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Inchgarth Road and Loirsbank Road, from 05:30 on 12 June, 2017, until 22:00 on 16 June, 2017. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretches of road from 08:00-17:00 Mon-Fri. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway resurfacing works. An alternative route is available via Westerton Road, North Deeside Road, St Devenicks Place and Deeview Road South.
