Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 13 May, 2017, until 06:00 on 29 May, 2017. The first weekend, from 07:30 on 13 May, 2017, until 06:00 on 15 May, 2017, to close the southbound carriageway on Causewayend, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Fraser Place and Mounthooly Roundabout. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The second weekend, from19:30 on 19 May, 2017, until 06:00 on 22 May, 2017, will close the southbound carriageway on Causewayend, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Fraser Place and Mounthooly Roundabout to complete the works or will close the northbound carriageway on Causewayend, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Mounthooly Roundabout and Fraser Place. ONLY ONE OF THESE RESTRICTIONS WILL BE IN PLACE AT ONE TIME The last weekend will only be used if required. This will be from 19:30 on 26 May, 2017, until 06:00 on 29 May, 2017 and will close the northbound carriageway on Causewayend, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Mounthooly Roundabout and Fraser Place. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during sewer connection works for the Robertsons site. A southbound alternative route is available via Fraser Place, George Street and Hutcheon Street.A northbound alternative route is available via Hutcheon Street, George Street and Fraser Place.
