(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2024
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers, which will introduce the following restrictions to allow Low loader to be parked on carriageway
Name & affected length of road – Dalmilling Drive,Ayr
Road Closure - From junction Dalmilling Road to No.25 Dalmilling Drive approx 65m
No Waiting - From No.25 - No.35 for 50m
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 10 July 2024 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 10 July 2024 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining until 10 July 2024 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services,residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route
