(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
On 2nd May 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Carriageway resurfacing
Temporary Road Closure – B7027 Barrhill - from Lochton Mill Southward for 1000m.
The Order commences on 27 May 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 27 May 2024 at 08:00 until 02 June 2024 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when safe to do so
An alternative route will be signed via Travel South along the B7027 from the closure onto the junction of the A714, turn left and travel the A714 into Barrhill and onto the junction of the B7027, turn left and travel the B7027 onto the closure and vice versa
