(D24/3 NORTHHOUSE TO PREISTHAUGH)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (D24/3 Northhouse to Priesthaugh) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 6 May 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for carriageway screed works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D24/3 from Northhouse to Priesthaugh, south of Hawick.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D24/3, D25/3 and A7 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
