(PEEBLES MARCH RIDERS ASSOCIATION – JUNIOR RIDE)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024

The Scottish Borders Council are making the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 11:00 on 14 April 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 14:00. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Peebles March Riders Association Junior Ride.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following roads in Peebles:

Kingsmeadows Road, Glensax Road, Glen Road, Bonnington Road, Craigerne Lane,

Edderston Road and Caledonian Road

The closures will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a Police Officer in uniform and/or appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
