(ROSEBANK ROAD, HAWICK)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (Rosebank Road, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 8 April 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall (i) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; and (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked, along Rosebank Road, Hawick from Crumhaughhill Road to Burnflatbrae.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Crumhaughhill Road, the D26/3, D25/3, D24/3 and Burnflatbrae to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
