(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2024
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water Works
Name of road - C129,Standalane
For 430M from Four Acres Drive Junction to Wheatrigg Farm Cottages.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 22 May 2024 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 22 May 2024 at 10:00 until 22 May 2024 at 11:30.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.
Alternative route - Standalane > C129> A735 > and vice versa
HGV's will be escorted through site when safe to do so due to weight restricted bridge on diversion route.
