(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2024
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow BT Works
Name of road - Ayr Road,Glaisnock Street
Glaisnock Street - Closed North Bound (only) From Hall Terrace towards the Junction of B7046 Ayr Road
Ayr Road - Closed Easbound (only) from A70 New Bridge Street junction to junction of Glaisnock Street
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 20 May 2024 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 20 May 2024 at 08:00 until 22 May 2024 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route - B7046 Ayr Road - A70 New Bridge Street-B7083 Glaisnock Street-Glaisnock Road-A76.
