NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow SGN works
Name & affected length of road – Bank Place, Kilmarnock
No Waiting - Bank Place, Entire Length of Street
Road Closure - Bank Place, Entire Length of Street
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 13 May 2024 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 13 May 2024 at 09:30 with the restrictions remaining until 17 May 2024 at 19:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents and deliveries will be maintained via diversion route
