The Stirling Council (Broad Street, Castle Wynd, Mar Place, St John Street, Spittal Street, Stirling) (Temporary Road Closure), and (Mar Place, St John Street, Spittal Street, Stirling) (Temporary Suspension of One-Way System) Order 2023 - Stirling Archived

This Order will close:

Broad Street                                 For its entire length;

Castle Wynd                                 From its junction with Mar Place to its junction with Upper Castlehill;

Mar Place                                     For its entire length;

St John Street                               For its entire length, and;

Spittal Street                                 From its junction with Bank Street to its junction with St John Street.

The Order will also suspend the one-way system on:

Mar Place                                     For its entire length;

St John Street                               For its entire length, and;

Spittal Street                                 From its junction with Bank Street to its junction with St John Street.

The restrictions will apply from 0700 hours until 0900 hours on 4-7-23 to facilitate a building inspection.

                                                    Emergency service access will be maintained

Alternative Route:                          via Bank Street, Baker Street, King Street, Corn Exchange Road, Albert Place, Dumbarton Road West, Raploch Road, Back O’Hill Road, Lower Castlehill, Cowane Street, Upper Bridge Street, St Mary’s Wynd

                                                    To access Upper Castlehill / The Castle -  via Bank Street, Baker Street, King Street, Corn Exchange Road, Albert Place, Dumbarton Road West, Raploch Road, Back O’Hill Road, Lower Castlehill, Cowane Street, Upper Bridge Street, Barn Road, Lower Castlehill, Upper Castlehill
