The effect of this Order shall be to temporarily prohibit the use of vehicles on the length of road identified in the Schedule to this Notice during the period from 1900 hours on 17 June 2023 until 2000 hours on the same day.  The temporary restriction of vehicles is considered necessary to facilitate the holding of a Public Procession in Stirling, but will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform and during the periods corresponding to those lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

SCHEDULE

 

Length of Road to be closed in Stirling

 

King’s Park Road – from the junction of Drummond Place to the junction with St Ninians Road / Port Street.

St Ninians Road – from the junction of King’s Park Road to the junction of Wellgreen.

Wellgreen – for its entire length.

Goosecroft Road – from Craigs Roundabout to the junction of Seaforth Place.

Station Road – for its entire length.

Murray Place – from the junction of Station Road to the point where it meets King Street.

King Street – from the point where it meets Murray Place to the point where it meets Corn Exchange Road.

Corn Exchange Road – for its entire length.

Albert Place – from the junction of Corn Exchange Road to the junction with Queen’s Road.

Queen’s Road – for its entire length.

Victoria Place – for its entire length.

Stirling Council with the consent of the Scottish Ministers in terms of Section 16B (6)(b) made the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers enabling them to do so.
