The effect of this Order shall be to temporarily prohibit the use of vehicles on the length of road identified in the Schedule to this Notice during the period from 0900 hours on 3 June 2023 until 1030 hours on the same day.  The temporary restriction of vehicles is considered necessary to facilitate the holding of a Public Procession in Stirling, but will only have effect in relation to such part of parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, or at the direction of a Police Officer in Uniform and during the periods corresponding to those lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

SCHEDULE 1

 

Length of Road in Stirling

 

Lower Bridge Street – for its entire length.

Cowane Street – for its entire length.

Viewfield Place – for its entire length.

Barnton Street – for its entire length.

Murray Place – for its entire length.

King Street – for its entire length.

Corn Exchange Road – for its entire length.

Albert Place – that section between Corn Exchange Road and Glebe Avenue.

Dumbarton Road East – for its entire length.

Port Street – from the junction of Dumbarton Road East to the point where it meets St Ninians Road

St Ninian Road – from the point where it meets Port Street to the access to the Stirling Council Offices at Viewforth.

Stirling Council with the consent of the Scottish Ministers in terms of Section 16B (6)(b) made the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers enabling them to do so.
