The Stirling Council (Claredon Place, Dunblane) (Temporary Road / Footway Closure) and (Claredon Place / Sunnyside, Dunblane) (Temporary Suspension of One-Way System - Amendment) Order 2021 - Stirling Archived

The ORDER will close:-

Claredon Place Ph 1   From its junction with the B8033 to its junction with Hillside Avenue from 22-11-21 until 7-1-22; and.

Claredon Place Ph 2   From its junction with the B8033 to its junction with George Street from 7-1-22 until 24-1-22; and.

Claredon Place Ph 3   From its junction with Hillside Avenue to its junction with Springfield Terrace from 25-1-22 until 21-2-22

The Order will also close the footway:-

Claredon Place            From the north kerbline of its junction with Hillside Avenue north to the south kerbline of its junction with George Street, a distance of 32 metres or thereby; and,

Claredon Place            From the north kerbline of its junction with George Street north to its junction with Springfield Terrace / Sunnyside Road, a distance of 47 metres or thereby from 25-1-22 until 21-2-22

The ORDER will also suspend the one-way system on:-

Claredon Place            From its junction with the B8033 roundabout to its junction with Hillside Avenue from 25-1-22 until 21-2-22, and;.

Sunnyside                     From its junction with the Hanover Court to its junction with Perth Road from 22-11-21 until 21-2-22 to facilitate works on behalf of Amey.  

                                       Emergency Service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes:      Phase 1 - via B8033, Sunnyside, Springfield Terrace, Old Doune Road, George Street, Hillside Avenue, Claredon Place, B8033 and vice versa

                                       Phase 2 – via B8033, Sunnyside, Springfield Terrace, Old Doune Road, George Street and vice versa – Residents access will be maintained to Hillside Avenue.

                                       Phase 3 – via B8033, Sunnyside, Springfield Terrace, Old Doune Road, George Street, Hillside Avenue, Claredon Place, B8033 and vice versa

                                       Phase 3 – Pedestrians – From the southside of the Hillside Avenue junction with Claredon Place pedestrians will cross over to the east footway outside Claredon House and walk north east to the Springfield Terrace / Sunnyside junction.  Pedestrians will then cross at the junction to the west footway and vice versa

                                       Please note this is a change to the previously advertised dates.
