The ORDER will close:-
Murray Place |
From its junction with Station Road to its junction with King Street. |

From the point where it meets Murray Place to “The Steeple” at the top of King Street. |

Alternative route: |
via Station Road, Goosecroft Road, Cowane Street, Upper Bridge Street, St Mary’s Wynd, Bow Street, Baker Street. |

Exemptions will apply to goods vehicles (deliveries) loading / unloading to adjacent premises, refuse collection vehicles, to vehicles accessing the Golden Lion Hotel car park, taxis (for the purpose of dropping off / picking up only), residents, blue badge holders the P2 bus service and the Land Train. Access to residents will be maintained to the permit holder only spaces on Murray Place in front of the TSB.
Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles. |

The ORDER will also introduce a 20mph Speed Limit
Barnton Street |
From its junction with Princess Street to its junction with Station Road. |

Maxwell Place |
For its entire length. |

Viewfield Street |
For its entire length. |

The ORDER will also introduce a parking suspension:-
|

King Street |
The section of “Pay and Display” parking at the top of King Street adjacent to No’s 18-28 King Street. |

All restrictions will be for a period of up to 18 months, from 10-8-20 as part of a Covid-19 Project. These parking suspension and road closures will create additional space for pedestrians and cyclists at locations where space is currently limited. |
