The Stirling Council (St John Street, Mar Place, Stirling) (Temporary Closure) and (St John Street, Mar Place, Spittal Street) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) and (St John Street, Spittal Street, Stirling) (Temporary Suspension of One-Way System) Order - Stirling Archived

This Order will close:

St John Street That section from the junction of St John Street cul-de-sac to the point where it meets Mar Place, and;

Mar Place For its entire length.

The Order will also suspend the parking on:

St John Street The parking layby on the north-east side thereof adjacent to property numbers 2 – 6 St John Street, and;

Mar Place The parking layby on the east side thereof opposite the Church of the Holy Rude, and;

Spittal Street The parking layby on the north-east side thereof between the junction of Bank Street and Academy Road.

The Order will also suspend the one-way system on:

Spittal Street From the junction of Bank Street to the point where it meets St John Street, and;

St John Street From the point where it meets Spittal Street to the junction of St John Street cul-de-sac.

All restrictions apply from 7-10-19 until 4-11-19 to facilitate carriageway repairs.

Emergency service access will be maintained

Alternative Route: via Bank Street, Baker Street, King Street, Corn Exchange Road, Albert Place, Dumbarton Road West, Raploch Road, Back O’Hill Road, Lower Bridge Street, Upper Bridge Street, St Mary’s Wynd, Broad Street,
