TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER - A7 TRUNK ROAD – MOSSPAUL TO C77A AT FIDDLETON TOLL - SP ENERGY NETWORKS - SP Energy Networks Archived

SP ENERGY NETWORKS has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

SP Energy Networks are undertaking improvement works to the overhead electricity transmission network between Longtown and Galashiels. The works are being carried out on behalf of SP Energy Networks by Keltbray Distribution & Transmission Ltd.

To perform the activity safely it will be necessary to implement temporary traffic management for the duration of the works at the above location(s). The traffic measures will be agreed with the Trunk Road Network Operator and may at times result in delays to vehicular traffic. Work is planned to commence at this location on 27 May 2019 for 22 weeks and it is SP Energy Networks intention to utilise temporary traffic signals at various times during this period. The programme of work is weather dependent.

Again in the interest of safety, a 30mph speed restriction will be introduced in line with stages of activity.

Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times and SP Energy Networks apologise in advance for any inconvenience resulting from the work which will be carried out as quickly and safely as possible.
