On 14/07/22 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on Townhead Street, Stonehouse between Vicars Road and Sidehead Road. The Order will be in operation from 29/08/22 to 04/11/22.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
This will overlap with the closure on Vicars Road to allow connections and dates will be dependent on work progress.
Alternative route is via Strathaven Rd, Stonehouse By Pass, Lockhart St, New St and King St.
