Colvilles Place, East Kilbride - South Lanarkshire Archived

South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-

This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Colvilles Place, East Kilbride Temporary Footpath Closure Order No. 1 2021” and shall come into operation at 0001 hours on 22 November 2021 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on 31 January 2022.  The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

Whilst this order remains in force no person shall use the sections of roads specified in the Schedule below by reason of upgrading Strathaven Road.

Schedule 1 - Temporary Footpath Closure – Colvilles Place, East Kilbride

Footpath link from adjacent to No. 44C Colvilles Place to Strathaven Road.

Alternative route: Colvilles Place, Glenfield Road, Stroud Road, High Common Road, Strathaven Road and vice versa.
