On Wednesday 9 June 2021, South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, which makes it unlawful; for any person to drive or cause or permit to be drive, any motor vehicle on the section of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of road safety.
Schedule 1 – Prohibition of Driving
Station Road, Blantyre between Park Lane and 19 Station Road
This Order will come into operation at 0930 hours on Monday 28 June 2021 and will remain in operation until 1800 hours on Friday 13 August 2021.
Diversion Route
Diversion will be via Station Road, Farm Road, Holmswood Avenue, Cowan Wilson Avenue and A724 Glasgow Road.
