South Lanarkshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and by all other enabling powers, hereby make the following order:-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council B764 Eaglesham Road, Jackton, Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2021” shall come into operation at 0001 hours on Friday 25 June 2021 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Thursday 22 December 2022.
No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of Stewart Milne Homes residential development construction works.
Schedule 1 – Temporary Speed Restriction B764 Eaglesham Road, Jackton – from Ocein Drive to a point 300 metres south-westwards of Hayhill Road.
