South Lanarkshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and by all other enabling powers, hereby make the following order:-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Meadowhead Highway Temporary Road Closure Order 2020” shall come into operation at midnight on 12 October 2020 and will remain in operation until 11.59pm on 12 April 2022.
No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception vehicles engaged on maintenance and emergency service vehicles) on Meadowhead Highway by reasons of road safety.
Schedule 1 – Temporary Road Closure – Meadowhead Highway, Meadowhead Farm Access to Cladence Highway.
Alternative Route - via Cladence Highway, Millwell Road and Ardochrig Road.
