On 19/08/2020 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the northbound side (towards Larkhall) of B7078 Carlisle Road, Larkhall between Canderside Toll and Canderside Roads Depot. The Order will be in operation from hours to hours on 11 October 2020.
Alternative route is via Canderside Toll, A71 Ayr Rd, B7017 Burnhead Road, Keir Hardie Road, Machan Road and Carlisle Road.
The southbound side coming from Larkhall towards Canderside Toll will remain open at all times.
It should be noted that these are provisional arrangements. The dates may be subject to change depending on government guidelines.
