On 18 February 2020 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person, except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform, to cause or permit any vehicle to enter or be driven on that length of Mousemill Road, Kirkfieldbank - from a point 78 metres north-west of the extended north-west parapet of Mousemill Bridge north-westward for a distance of thirty seven metres, or thereby.
This Order has been made because of the likelihood of danger to the public, i.e. for reasons of road safety.
The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on 21 March 2020 and will remain in operation until 2400 hours on 11 January 2021.
