On Tuesday 5 July 2019, South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, which makes it unlawful; for any person to drive or cause or permit to be drive, any motor vehicle on the section of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of road safety.
Schedule 1 – Prohibition of Driving
Swift Bank, Hamilton between Iona Ridge and Bourtree Road.
This Order will come into operation at 0930 hours on Monday 2 September 2019 and will remain in operation until 1800 hours on Monday 9 September 2019.
Diversion Route
Diversion is via Iona Ridge and Bourtree Road.
