On 19 June 2019 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person, except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform, cause or permit any vehicle, pedestrian or pedal cycle with the exception of pedestrians and vehicles not exceeding 1.5 metres, engaged in agricultural activities, to enter or be driven on Cleugh Bridge, Wilsontown – from its junction with the B7016, northwards then eastwards for a distance of 107 metres or thereby.This Order has been made because of the likelihood of danger to the public, i.e. for reasons of road safety.

The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on 9 July 2019 and will remain in operation until 2400 hours on 12 January 2021.
