South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-

This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Mousemill Road, Kirkfieldbank, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019” and shall come into operation at 0600 hours on 10 June 2019 and will remain in operation until 1800 hours on 20 June 2019.

Whilst this Order remains in force no person shall drive or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of road safety owing to South Lanarkshire Council ground investigation works.

Schedule 1 – Temporary Road Closure – Mousemill Road, Kirkfieldbank

Mousemill Road, Kirkfieldbank between the junction of the A72 Lanark to Kirkfieldbank and the junction of West Nemphlar Road.

Alternative Route

Alternative route to be signed via West Nemphlar Road, A73 Lanark Road, Steels Cross, A72 Lanark to Kirkfieldbank and vice versa.
