Temporary Road Closure Order 2019
South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, East Mains (Various Streets (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2019” and shall come into operation between 0800 hours Monday 4 February 2019 to 2359 hours Friday 29 March 2019. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Whilst this order remains in force no person shall park, drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 except for vehicles associated with the Scottish Water works or emergency vehicles.
Schedule 1 - Temporary Road Closure – Various Streets, East Kilbride
Local short term closures will be in place throughout the duration of the works on the following streets.
Kelso Drive, Rosslyn Avenue, Urquhart Drive, Stirling Avenue, Logie Park, Elgin Avenue, Elgin Place, Glamis Drive, Melrose Terrace.
Alternative Route as per diversion signage.
