Experimental Limited Waiting Restriction Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that, on 16 January 2019 South Lanarkshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 9 and 10 of the Roads Traffic Regulation Act 1984 made and confirmed the above-mentioned Experimental Order.

The effect of the Experimental Order will be to amending the limited waiting restrictions on Almada Street (Service Road), Hamilton.

The experimental Order will come into force on 27 February 2019 and remain in force for a period of up to 18 months. Copies of the Order as made and confirmed and of the accompanying plan may be inspected during normal working hours Monday to Friday inclusive at the offices of:-

The Council will in due course be considering whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should be made permanent.

Any person wishing to object to these proposals for the order to be made permanent should send details of the grounds for objections in writing to the Head of Roads and Transportation, Montrose House, 154 Montrose Crescent, Hamilton ML3 6LB, by 28 August 2019. This period being within six months, beginning with the day on which the Experimental Order comes into force on 27 February 2019.

Objections should only be sent to the council after 27 February 2019.
