South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, the A763 Clydeford Road Road Temporary Road Closure No.1, Order 2019” and shall come into operation at 0700 hours on 12 February 2019 and will remain in operation to 2359 hours on 15 February 2019. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. This order remains in force no person shall park, drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the sections of roads specified in Schedules 1 by reason of carriageway surfacing works.
Schedule 1 – Temporary Road Closure
A763 Clydeford Road, Cambuslang will be closed between the roundabouts at the junctions of Clydesmill Road and A763 Bridge Street.
Alternative Routes are via A763 Clydeford Road, B765 Carmyle Avenue, A74 London Road, A74 Fullarton Road, Bogleshole Road, A724 Cambuslang Road, A724 Glasgow Road and A763 Bridge Street.
