On 14/12/18 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on Broomelton Road, Larkhall between Plotcock Road and Millheugh Bridge. The Order will be in operation from 28/1/19 until 18/2/19. Local access will be maintained.
Alternative route is via Millheugh Brae, Raploch St, Carlisle Rd, Townhead St, Quarry St, Gateside St, Low Waters Rd, Strathaven Rd, Carscallan Rd and Plotcock Rd.
Works are also being undertaken on adjacent roads but only one road closure will be in effect at any one time.
