South Lanarkshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 88 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and by all other enabling powers, hereby make the following order:-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, B7078 Cairnhouses to Millbank Interchange (A70), Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2018” shall come into operation at 0800 hours on Tuesday 6 November 2018 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday 21 December 2018
No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40mph on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reasons of road safety.
Schedule 1 – Temporary Speed Restriction - 40 mph - through the works areas on B7078 Poneil Roundabout to A70 Millbank Roundabout between B7078 Poneil Roundabout and Millbank Interchange (A70).
