On Tuesday 19 June 2018, South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, which makes it unlawful; for any person to drive or cause or permit to be drive, any motor vehicle on the section of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of road safety.
Schedule 1 – Prohibition of Driving
Highstonehall Road, Hamilton between Stewart Avenue and Muttonhole Road.
This Order will come into operation at 0930 hours on Monday 13 August 2018 and will remain in operation until 1800 hours on Sunday 7 October 2018.
Diversion Route
Diversion is via Sherry Drive, Woodfoot Road, Wellhall Road, Earnock Road, Newhousemill Road and Muttonhole Road.
