A730 and B762 Burnside and High Burnside Area

On 5 March 2018 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order, under the terms of the Road Traffic Act 1984, thereby introducing the 30 mile per hour speed limit on the A730 Cathkin Bypass, Willow Boulevard (Cathkin Relief Road), Fernhill Road, Mill Street, Glasgow Road and Rutherglen Road, and the B762 Blairbeth Road, Burnside Road, Dukes Road and Kings Park Avenue, all Rutherglen.

The Order which comes into operation on 23 April 2018 was advertised in the Rutherglen Reformer in the week beginning 6 November 2017. The effect of the order is as previously stated.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by 16 April 2018, apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
