Temporary Order 2011
South Lanarkshire Council will make the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle with the exception of vehicles engaged on the works on Kildare Road, Lanark
The Order will come into operation at 0700 hours on Monday 17 January 2011 and will remain in operation for up to 4 weeks.
The closure is required to allow the installation of Scottish Power cabling. The closure will commence on Monday 17 January 2011 at 0700hrs. Advanced warning signs will be erected to notify of the commencement of the closure and local residents will be kept informed of the works progression.

Alternative Route: - Alternative routes will be signed and local access will be maintained.
