(Temporary prohibition of waiting and 20mph speed limit) Order 2024
On 18th January 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to encourage road safety.
No Waiting At Any Time - B77 Kirkoswald Road (both sides) - From the access into the Swimming Pool / Golf Course westwards to its the east gable wall of Point-Garry a distance of 285.
20mph Speed Limit - B77 Kirkoswald Road, Maybole from a point 200 metres west of the extended centre line of Crossraguel View eastward its junction with the swimming pool access.
The Order commences on 05 February 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 05 February 2024 at 00:01 with the restrictions remaining in place until 05 August 2025 at 23:59. Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
