(Temporary One Way Operation and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024
On 18th January 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow One Way Operation and Waiting Restrictions to be implemented
Temporary One Way Operation – Louisa Drive - from from its junction with Knockcushan Street, southwards to its junction with the extended north kerbline of Ailsa Street West, a distance of approximately 130 metres
No Waiting At Any Time – Louisa Drive - from from its junction with Knockcushan Street, southwards to its junction of Ailsa Street West, a distance of approximately 130m both sides of road
Duncan Street - From no 36 Duncan Street eastwards for approx 30m both sides of road
The Order commences on 01 February 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 01 February 2024 at 00:01 until 31 July 2025 at 00:59.
