(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water Works
Name of road - New Dykes Road, between 1 New Dykes Road and 3 New Dykes Road.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 27 December 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 27 December 2023 at 09:30 with the closure remaining in place until 29 December 2023 at 23:59.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access and access for residents, deliveries will be via diversion route
Alternative route - Signed via Caerlaverock Road, Meiklewood Avenue, Weir Avenue,.
