(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023
On 12th October 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing
Temporary Road Closure – A719 , Maidens, From North of Trump Turnberry to Malin Court Care Home for 1500m
The Order commences on 06 November 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 06 November 2023 at 09:00 until 26 November 2023 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 09:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents, deliveries will be maintained when safe to do so
An alternative route will be signed via Continue along A719 through Turnberry to the junction of Kirkoswald Road, turn left, travel Kirkoswald Road/A77 through Kirkoswald continuing onto Kirkoswald Road roundabout in Maybole, travel striaght onto Maybole bypass in Maybole, turn left onto the B7023, travel B7023 continuing onto A719, travel A719 continuing onto closure & vice versa
