(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023
On 7th September 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing
Temporary Road Closure – A719, Dunure, 1500m .
The Order commences on 02 October 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 02 October 2023 at 09:00 until 15 October 2023 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 09:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when safe to do so .
An alternative route will be signed via Travel South along A719 to the junction of B7023, turn left and travel along B7023 to Maybole bypass roundabout, turn left, travel North on Maybole bypass continuing onto A77, continue to travel North on A77 to Doonholm Road, turn left, travel Doonholm Road onto Murdoch Lane to the junction of B7024, turn right, travel B7024 to the junction of Greenfield Avenue, turn left, travel Greenfield Avenue to the roundabout at Dunure Road, turn left, travel and continue along Dunure Road onto A719 continuing onto closure & vice versa
